After the Android 13 announcement by Google, smartphone users have started searching whether their handset is eligible for Android 13 or not. Samsung users have already received Android 12 based on One UI 4.1 or One UI 4.0. Now it’s time for the Android 13 update.

May 17: Reportedly, Samsung Android 13 (One UI 5.0) beta program may start by July 2022. The Galaxy S22 family should get the Android 13 update first alongside other high-end devices such as Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4.

May 11: Google has unveiled Android 13 officially at Google I/O 2022. The Beta is open for 22 devices from 12 OEMs. Sadly, Samsung has not opened the beta program yet.

When will my Samsung Galaxy Device get Android 13 (One UI 5)?

Samsung could release the stable Android 13 update based on One UI 5 to its eligible galaxy devices in November 2022. The update will initially be available for Galaxy S22 series. Later, other old premium Galaxy devices will receive the update in phases.  For the mid-range Galaxy A series, we can expect the update will roll out in Q1 2023.

How to Sign up for Samsung Android 13 (One UI 5) Beta?

Samsung’s One UI 5 Beta program could initially be available for Galaxy S22 series. Once the Android 13 Beta program begins for your specific region, you can join the program quickly. To join, open the Samsung Members app and then log in with your Samsung Account. If you see the One UI 5 Beta registration banner, tap on it. Fill up the entry form and agree to the terms and conditions. Finally, press the ENROLL button to finish the signup process.
